| Tomorrow: Summer's here! Thursday: Never mind. It doesn't matter...I'll be inside studying for the board exam all day anyway (which, by the way, is actually rather enjoyable). |

this is what i see at sunset from my apartment balcony. i am learning about pee production in medical school. what are you guys up to? in other news, and in line with the superficial nature of my entries, i need to cut my asfro/lion's mane. my head now looks bigger in the frontal plane than in the sagittal. just kidding... ...well, not really. | | |
| Find your grail. For me, that means finishing this presentation.
I haven't been writing too much recently because my wellspring of creativity has dried up.
For your viewing pleasure, here is Franz (physcho20X9) in all his hairy glory, driving us back to Pittsburgh last Sunday in "The Enforcer," his overpowered muscle car of a Camry.

| Planning and executing Second Look Weekend for the prospective med
students was crazy. I lost about 60 hours of studying time
because of it (I'm a slow studier, and I wasn't able to study a normal
amount for the past 1.5 weeks). It was fun, though, and I hope
the prospectives I got to know do come to this school. One of the
best parts was having a car to drive around prospectives for the past
four days (I borrowed it from a friend). Pittsburgh has the most
atrociously designed roads, so I got lost a lot, but now I know my way
around a lot better.
So, in response to Steve's question, "No, I was not studying."
And Tiffany, if you're reading this, you better come to this school.

| In case you didn't know, my Xanga username is part of a quote from the character Salieri in Milos Forman's movie Amadeus.
I have no idea if that's something the real Salieri actually said, but
I doubt it. Maybe I'll write an entry in the future regarding my
choice of that moniker for a username. Expect such an entry
sometime in the next few years.
In other news, the vascular surgeon I'm shadowing for one of my classes
told me on Monday that the single greatest cost in healthcare today is
the cost of mediocrity. Discuss.
